Grace Lynn Rabuck and Mark Alan Willburn were united in Holy Matrimony on Saturday February 6, 2016 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at Shove Memorial Chapel in Colorado Springs, Colorado with the Reverend Joey Jimenez officiating. Bright sunshine on freshly fallen snow set the stage for the special occasion. Music for the ceremony was provided by Anne-Marie Thompson, pianist and childhood friend of the bride. Scripture readings were shared by Cathy Naffziger, sister of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Rabuck of Conroe, Texas. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Willburn of Buena Vista, Colorado.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a beautiful A-line gown featuring a sweetheart neckline with a roushed bodice and beaded sash. The cathedral veil attached with a comb decorated with wedding lace from her mother's wedding dress completed the ensemble. The bride carried a bouquet of white and light pink flowers with accents of blue and gray flowers and blue-green accents of succulents and fresh dusty miller greenery with stems wrapped in gray ribbon.
Wearing navy blue knee length dresses and carrying a smaller version of the bride's bouquet, Keeley Dooley and Shelli Smith, sisters of the bride, were the bride's attendants. Peyton Smith, niece of the bride, was the flower girl with Hannah Dooley and Berkeley Smith, nieces, serving as special attendants to the bride. Philip Willburn and Tim Willburn, brothers of the groom, served as groomsmen and Han Willburn, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer. Ushers were Davis Dooley, Cebron Rabuck, nephews of the bride, Andrew Rabuck, brother of the bride, and Michael Willburn, brother of the groom.
Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at the Ivywild School in Colorado Springs. Mark and Grace reside in the Colorado Springs area.
