Whitney Brooke Veith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Veith III of Lexington, Kentucky and Robert Andrew Stubbs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Stubbs of Atlanta, Texas, were married at half past five o'clock on November 7, 2015 at the Keene Barn in Lexington. The Reverend Guy Williams of Atlanta, Texas, officiated the ceremony. Music for the ceremony was provided by Volare String Quartet. Dinner and dancing followed at the Keeneland Entertainment Center. Father Gino Donatelli of the Cathedral of Christ the King of Lexington blessed the meal. Julia Meador of Lexington, served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Emily Ryan and Ellen Young both of Lexington, Rachael Buncher Scoggin of Xenia, Ohio and Annie Trumbore Massie of Los Angeles, California. Flower girls were Emma and Addison Scoggin of Xenia, Ohio. Serving his brother as Best Man was James Clinton Stubbs of Houston, Texas. Groomsmen were Jay Bruce of Houston, Texas, Spud Adams of Atlanta, Texas, John Veith IV, of Nashville, Tennesse and Nicholas Veith of Chicago, Illinois. Ushers were Steven Trout of Morgantown, West Virginia, Randy Boone of Yoakum, Texas, Carson Kainer of Conroe, Texas and Kyle McCulloch of Austin, Texas. Jack Veith of Nashville, Tennessee served as Ringbearer. Readers were Paige Richardson Vasami of Charlotte, North Carolina and Suzanne Veith Wickelhaus of Fort Wright, Kentucky. The bride is a graduate of Lexington Catholic High School and Elon University. She has a graduate degree from Columbia University. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. She currently is a resident physician at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, Texas. The groom is a graduate of Atlanta High School. He attended the University of Texas before being drafted by the Cincinnati Reds. He completed his MLB contract with the Texas Rangers in October and is now a free agent. The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia. They currently reside in Austin, Texas.
