Miss Casey Jo Robertson & Mr. Jeffrey Howard Chapman
Miss Casey Jo Robertson and Mr. Jeffrey Howard Chapman were united in marriage on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at seven o'clock in the evening at St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas. The double ring ceremony was officiated by the Reverend Dr. Tom Pace. Immediately following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at The Petroleum Club of Houston with dinner and dancing to Buzz & the Blue Cats of Austin, Texas. On the eve of the wedding the groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at the Cherie Flores Garden Pavilion at Hermann Park Conservancy. On Friday, the bridal luncheon was held at The Canopy, hosted by Mrs. Polly Bates, aunt of the bride, and Mrs. Mary Kay Wooten, cousin of the bride. On Sunday morning following the ceremony, the aunts and uncles of the groom hosted a brunch for out-of-town guests at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Allison Robertson, Jr. of Baytown, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mr. James C. Jones of Fort Worth, Texas and the late Mrs. James C. Jones and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lee Allison Robertson, Sr. of Baytown, Texas.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Add Chapman of Kingwood, Texas. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert William Chapman of Breckenridge, Texas and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Holt Whitten, Sr. of Navasota, Texas.
Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a beautiful beaded couture gown designed by Maggie Sottero. The fit and flare gown featured a dramatic illusion deep V open back with appliqued lace and crystals cascading throughout the entire chapel length train, illusion sleeves and a delicate scalloped hemline completed the look. The bride carried a lush bouquet of white dahlias, hearts roses, Hawaiian dendrobium orchids, james story orchids, white and orange ranunculus, and yellow roses wrapped in a stain ribbon. She wore her mother's diamond earrings as something borrowed, a sapphire and diamond tennis bracelet for something blue, and her new wedding band which is a combination of both the groom and bride's maternal grandmothers' wedding bands. An heirloom of a pearl encrusted family Bible from Jerusalem was carried by the ring bearer preceding the bride. During the reception, the newlyweds enjoyed their wedding cake on the same wedding plates that have been used at weddings in the groom's family for more than two centuries.
Serving as her Matron of Honor was her sister-in-law, Robyn Robertson of Dallas, Texas. Her Bridesmaids were Sarah Brown of Corpus Christi, Texas, Laura Czapski of Houston, Texas, Erin Fagan of Houston, Texas, Sara Russell of Houston, Texas, and Whitney Terilli of New York City, New York.
The House Party included Alexis Cunningham of Dallas, Texas, Margaret Dearden of Ft. Worth, Texas, Lindsey Duke of Katy, Texas, Lindsay Holliday of San Antonio, Texas, Sandra Johanneman of Houston, Texas, Erin Kraxberger of Dallas, Texas, Taylor Nichols of Beaumont, Texas, Bridget O'Malley of Charlotte, North Carolina and Brooke Totah of Austin, Texas.
Graham Smith of Dillion, Montana, served the Groom as Best Man. Groomsmen included Jose Ignacio "Joey" Maldonado, Jr. of Laredo, Texas, Lee A. "Cole" Robertson, III of Dallas, Texas, Cody James Robertson of Baytown, Texas, Adam Ward of Dallas, Texas, and William Whitten of Houston, Texas. Serving as Ushers were David Giovanni Callejas of Brooklyn, New York, Benjamin Johanneman of Houston, Texas, Christopher Roden of San Antonio, Texas, and LeVar Woods of Atlanta, Georgia. Ring bearer was Lee A. Robertson, IV of Dallas, Texas, and Honorary Ring Bearer was James Ray Robertson of Dallas, Texas both nephews of the bride.
Casey Jo attended Ross S. Sterling High School in Baytown, Texas and is a graduate of Texas A&M University at College Station graduating with a BBA in Management in 2006. While at Texas A&M Casey Jo was active in Delta Delta Delta Sorority, a proud member of the Texas Aggie Dance Team, and the student organization Carpool. In 2009, Casey Jo received a Masters of Arts in Human Resources Management from University of Houston. Professionally Casey Jo leads Campus Recruiting efforts at Protiviti, overseeing all entry level hiring in the U.S. She has worked for the global consulting firm for more than eight years. Casey Jo is an active volunteer with the Jr. League of Houston, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and is the 2015 & 2016 Co-Chair of the Annual Blonde's vs. Brunette's powder puff football game benefiting the Houston and Southeast Texas Alzheimer's Association.
Jeffrey Howard graduated from St. Thomas School in Houston, Texas in 1996, and attended Trinity University graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy in 2000. While at Trinity Jeffrey was active in Phi Sigma Chi Fraternity. In 2006, Jeff graduated with dual degrees of a Masters in Construction Management and a Masters in Architecture from Texas A&M University. Jeffrey currently works as a Licensed Architect for PBK Architects in Houston, Texas. He founded the USGBC Emerging Green Builders-Houston Chapter in 2006. Jeffrey's claim to fame is he has built 30 houses with Habitat for Humanity and has Certified 30 LEED Buildings.
Following a honeymoon trip to New Zealand, Casey Jo and Jeff will reside in Houston, Texas pursuing their life time adventures.
