Benson-Efird Engagement
Dr. and Mrs. John D. Benson of Cary, North Carolina, announce the engagement of their daughter, Julia Benson to Richard Efird II. He is the son of Mr. Richard Efird of Chapel Hill, NC and Mrs. Ruth Efird of Durham, NC. Julia is the granddaughter of Lorine Coulter of Danville. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She currently works as a Registered Nurse at the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital. Richard is a graduate of North Carolina State University and has a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. He is the dining room manager of Idle Hour Country Club in Lexington, Kentucky. The wedding will take place September 18, 2010 at St. Luke United Methodist Church in Lexington, Kentucky.
